Turns out that NOAA has finally admitted that they told the White House that Dorian could indeed impact Alabama and there is now a clip from cnnBS that warns Alabama residents to be aware of Dorian impacting them just like Trump said. And it also turns out that the hand drawn map shown by the White House matches the following early projection.

But you can redeem yourself, Prove your claim....post the NOAA report (he!! post ANY legitimate report) which backs up Trump's claim that there was a 95% chance, say again 95% chance, of an Alabama hit!

If it got us out of all these stupid wars that have little to do with us I certainly would applaud him.  See you think I’m a trumper but I think for myself.  I do not let parties or presidents behavior affect my daily life.  I like results and hate war especially involving our kids.  Let’s get out of all wars now.  Just look at all the nonsense wars dating back to Vietnam to our current entanglements.

It was an honest question and with you I could not predict an answer.  I do not assume you are a Trumpista (inspite of your recent endorsement) and have generally found your comments much more thoughtful and reasonable than most on the forum.  I appreciate your answer, an extremely rare event on this forum, but would bet the farm it is very different from how most of the forum would answer if they were actually being truthful.  Most hate Obama (or any Democrat) and automatically condemn anything for which he is credited.

In fact I have been surprised that Trump looked as if he was about to make a deal to start to get us out of Afghanistan after 18 years.  Not as good a deal as we had with Iran that he tossed, but at least a start, and was dreading having to post my grudging approval.  Of course I had no reason to worry.  After all  this is Donald Trump with whom no actual real agreements ever seem to go anywhere.  Some people can be described as working in circles...Trump works in a spiral.

BTW:  I would never deny that I loathe Trump and his presidency to the same extent most on the forum feel the same way about Obama. Turn about if fair play!

PS:  I hope you realize Trump should be included in your analysis of those who are playing us for fools.

At one point, one of the models was showing a possible track that would bring it through Alabama.  The local meteorologists didn't think it was likely, but one of the models did show it.

I posted the link to NOAA’s website that shows an earlier projection that has the edge of the storm impacting Alabama, just as NOAA told him and just as he said. Why is something so obvious so difficult for people suffering from TDS?

By the date Dear Leader “warned” Alabama the NOAA maps you provide DO NOT show AL in danger and at NO TIME (even in the early forecasts) did any NOAA information show AL as having more than a 20% chance of receiving Tropocal storm winds let alone Hurricane winds.  Now if you can provide a single verifiable document that supports Trump’s dangerous claim that there was a 95% chance AL would be effected you will receive my apology...otherwise get off your high horse and stop this nonsense!

Yes, in the early days of the storm NOAA maps showed a small possibility the path might cross FL into the gulf and impact AL.  Note the dates on the maps compared to the day Trump popped off saying it was 95% likely AL would be hit. I believe you will find by that date the maps have a very different projection.  This was a silly diversion until Trump pressured NOAA to cover for his inability to ever admit he made an error.  It now takes a much more serious aspect and you know it!

No, there was a point where one of the models showed a possible course of the hurricane cutting across Florida and into the Gulf before coming up through Alabama.   There are about 20 different models that give different results.  The most reliable of these is the European Model which seems to be right about 95% of the time.  

But GF, why do you really care to keep going on about this?  The truth is that up until the time it hit the Bahamas, they didn't seem to know what it was going to do. Most models had a Cat 5 hurricane going up the coast of Florida. Just be thankful that none of it happened.
