and Philip Zelikow were on the Today show today to plug their new book "To Build a Better World".  Ms. Rice put to bed any notion that she would like to be National Security Advisor again. She also deftly put Savannah Guthrie in her place when Guthrie asked her a leading question about Trump.  She said "we shouldn't even have that conversation, we should have another conversation"  

If you have forgotten, Rice was Secretary of State.  I was privliged to her her speak at a function.  One thing that surprised me is how petite she is.  She is also a Russian Scholar and a concert level pianist.  I know that since she escaped Washington it is unlikely that she will allow herself to be dragged back, but I think she would make an excellent first woman President.

She would certainly be a great addition to any presidents cabinet but I agree I doubt that she would ever return.

I wish she would run for president.  She would probably win 70% of the vote, but she is way too intelligent and principled to lower her standards that much.

I agree! If I am not mistaken, she also plays "golf". Also, she is a prime example of the level to which any "person" with ability, drive, ambition, and desire can reach in this great country. Far too many well deserving people of all races have been severely limited in reaching their "potential" because of many of the "policies and programs" that have been implemented over the years by our Federal Government.

She was one of 12 members of the College Football Playoff selection committee and finished her third and final season on the committee in January 2017. She is a "remarkable" woman to say the least.

I would well and faithfully vote for Secretary Condoleeza Rice for president, no question. What an honor, for me, it would be.

We will never see her on the ticket, but my vote awaits, notwithstanding her genuine reservations.
