Donald Trump just tweeted a call for the arrest of a duly elected member of the opposition for treason.  Do you have any problem with that WIX, Phil, Lifer, FF, MM?  Dare you answer?  I know it was only a ''Tweet'' and some of you wish he would be more cautious in his digital comments.  If so make it clear to all on this forum that as a member of his ''base'' you insist it stop, if not then we will assume  you will not complain when a Pres Biden or Warren or Harris suggests Mitch McConnel should be arrested for opposing the actions or policies, legal or otherwise, of the president!!

Treason may be a bit  strong, but Schiff is an absolute a**.  His parody of Trump's conversation, coming from a judicial committee CHAIR no less, on a hearsay document was far too partisan and political, even for some mod Dems.  Face it, impeachment should be an absolute solemn event and Schiff acted like he was on SNL. Gotta love how Trump fights back. This impeachment gambit will go nowhere, especially now that it has been revealed that whistleblower qualifications miraculously were changed to allow second and third hand recollections of events just a short time ago.  How convenient...Despite the constant 3 year harassment of a duly elected President, including a soon to be publicized coup, Trump's agenda continues to proceed along as planned Archie. This is what drives you and Doe crazy.  You can't seem to understand that the majority of Trump's supporters don't really care about his personal life decisions.  He will be called to give an account at some time, but the AGENDA was what was vitally important.  You will get to complain about him for another 5 years.

I suggest you look at media reports as the number of times Democrats and the media have accused Trump of treason are too numerous to list.  Were those also sad days for America or does this standard only apply to Trump?  Given Schiff's behavior I can say that calling his behavior treasonous is a little over the top but I can certainly understand why Trump has decided to use that language.  I wouldn't because I just think he's an idiot.  But given how many times the left has accused Trump of treason I find it odd that you are now suddenly sad for the country.

I am glad to know that since you did not post anything negative about the president during the reign of Oblamer the 1st about lies, corruption, scandals - and to this day refuse to list any of his "lies" - that you have not posted or suggested anything about DJT for any of the same.  But I seem to see much posting in the last several years(and will only ramp up your hatred of the President through his 2nd term) to indicate you are full of chit.

At a minimum in a real hearing he could ask for a change of venue because the "judge" in the matter is baised and shown himself to be full of chit and that if Trumps own words were so damning why invent new ones?

BTW:  I am sad for the country because we have a president who has no hesitancy to make such inflammatory remarks, but I am even sadder that so many otherwise reasonable Americans are so willing to accept and excuse it!
