I don't know why but I check the AC Outlook every day hoping to find some local news.  I am dissapointed daily.  Today the top story is about a new Ice Cream shop opening, somewhere in the Lake Martin area I presume, but wouldn't know from reading the article.  I scanned it the first time looking for location and didn't see it so I figured I missed it.  Went back for a second look and stil have NOT found a location for the new business.  Top of the fold story about a new business, but never tell the reader where that new business is located.  SMH.

Thats our local paper folks.

Yes.  On FB, there are a couple of pages local and talk about new businesses, but they too often omit where the business is located.

I have replied to those Facebook posts concerning new businesses several times about "no location" .  Most still withold locations, do not understand this repeated problem. Hard to believe the "Who, What, When, Where, Why" is lost on current newspaper, FB writers.

This is just speculation on my part but I think I might have figured out why they refuse to post the address.  I think they were "obligated" to do the feature story on the creamery, but my guess is they couldn't/wouldn't buy very expensive ads across all of the TPI outlets so therefor they spitefully don't print the address.

Just my opinion but I will be checking the new magazines as they hit the rack in the next few days so see if there is a Creamery ad in them.  My bet is not.

I saw it there on my travels on the day the paper said they were opening, which was a Friday.  I checked at 10:30 and saw the posted hours as openig at 11.  I went back by at 11:45 and they still weren't open.  I don't know what happened but considering the Outlooks track record I figured they gave the wrong opening day.  but it not good to have posted hours and then not be open when the signs says you shoud be.  There was nothing about a Grand Opening on the door or window.  I plan to stop next time I am down that way.
