Donald Trump disrespected Ted's wife and accused his father of being involved in the JFK assissination but for the sake of toeing the GOP line he kisses Trumps ring and his fanny.  Ted talks with empathy of the suffering of the people of TX but is caught sneaking of th Mexico while hundreds of his voters die in extreme weather and then adds insult to injury by blaming the trip on his wife and kids.  Wiyh a completely straight face he condemn Democrats for ''blindly'' following the wishes of Schumer and Pelosi.  Now to top it off we learn that this pond scum of politicians that supports prohibiting public or private entities from mandating vaccines for employees or customers and supports the TX law prohibiting public schools from requiring masks, is sending his kids to a pivate school that mandates masks and vaccines!  I am often hypocritical and freely admit it, many on this forum are hypocrits and never admit it, Ted Cruz is in a lwague of his own...he is the international poster-child for hypocrisy!!

You need to improve your Alabamie schools before you sound off about DC schools. FYI New Jersey schools are number 1 and Florida is number 3 while Alabama is 47th according to US News and World Reports. You must be a proud bigot.

I agree that most “public” schools in Alabama suck….that’s why there are tons of private school systems in our state.  US News doesn’t include private educational opportunities in their GUBMENT charts….wonder why??  Yes, there are good and bad schools in Alabama, but the great majority of bad schools are “public”.  Guess you could say there are dimokrap schools and Republican schools….right??  Same. Same in DC….want an education for yo kids….go private in DC.

Never paid much attention to USNWP rankings, especially as relating to colleges.  About as worthwhile as rating "best party school".  You can't quote them Fish until you also quote the criteria used for their rankings.  Is it dollar spent per public school student?  Is it scoring on standardized exams?  Is it graduation rates and college enrollment numbers?  Leisure reading material only, not to be used for policy decision making.

So are you saying Fish that a comparison between Loudon County, Virgina and Elmore County, AL is equivalent?  At least Elmore County is not removing urinals from the male bathrooms for fear of insulting the females identifying as males.
