This is the advice from such mental luminaries and Stephen Colbert and Mayor Pete Butt Boy.  And people wonder why Trump was elected in 2016......this is how out of touch and elitist leftists are.  So in case you too are a mental midget I will explain the absurdity of this.  One, the average cost of an electric car is around $56,000.  Now call me crazy but your average American struggling to pay $5/gallon for gas just maybe can't afford an electric car.  Two, the majority of the country obtains it's electricity from coal or natural gas so as those prices go up so will electricity.  Three, owning an electic car is not for everyone and is completely impractical for many Americans, even if they could afford one.

But this is an abject lesson in what the left and Democrats think about you.  Gas prices too high?  Boo hoo for you!  Go buy an electric car like I have...sniff...sniff...if not, well too bad for you...losers.  Marie Antionette would be proud.......

Bleak as the market is for used-car buyers, the computer chip shortage has also driven new-vehicle prices higher. The average new vehicle, Edmunds.com says, is edging toward $46,000.

Sadly those electric vehicles will soon be cheaper then any new car on the lot ( and as prices of used cars keep going up and up ) it may soon be the cheaper option, but still out of reach for the majority.  Thanks Sniffy!

Beyond the sticker shock of the car, and lack of infrastructure to charge them - you get to look forward to the 4-8 year battery replacement that can run a considerable chunk of the cost of the car itself.

I'm telling you, these people are so out of touch that they literally cannot understand what all the hoopla and whining is about.  They live in their insulated, isolated little worlds and other than their housekeepers and lawn maintenance workers don't even know an average American. Waiters, uber drivers, delivery people, mechanics, etc. are all invisible to them.  They lump them all together into two baskets.  Those that vote Democrat (the ones on their modern plantation) and the deplorables that don't vote Democrat, who they view as too dumb and uneducated to realize who their betters are and how they should follow them like obedient little serfs.  And every once in a while they all their true selves to show as we saw with Mayor Pete and Colbert.  They view 90% of the country with contempt.

I hold around 20% to 30% of the country in contempt......died in the wool leftists....you know, the ones that think Dementia Joe is doing a swell job, Trump colluded with Russia, the ChiCom virus came from the wet markets instead of the lab, men can be women and women can be men, men can get pregnant, climate change is our biggest threat, alphabet zealots corrupting our children and so on.  This would include much of academia, woke corporations, the govt media complex, leftist elitists, Hollyweird and those others brainwashed by the former group.  They lack the capacity to think critically.  They are strangers to facts, logic and reason and are driven by irrational emotion.  They believe in so many things that are simply not true. They believe deeply in an ideology that has never worked and will never work and if you oppose them they would gladly, if given the power, put you in a gulag to be "reeducated".   

The remainder of the country, especially average, hard working Americans are to be admired and I do so.

52 percent of Democrats would leave the United States if Russia invaded the US while 40 percent say they would stay and fight and 8 percent say they don’t know or say it’s not applicable.

Sixty-eight percent of Republicans would stay and fight, while 25 percent say they wouldn’t and 6 percent say they don’t know or say it’s not applicable. As those numbers don’t add up to 100 percent, it is uncertain what happened to the remaining 1 percent.

Fifty-seven percent of independents would remain and fight, while 36 percent say otherwise and 7 percent say they don’t know or say it’s not applicable.

Let's do the math here so you understand where my 90% comes from and who we are talking about because 90% was probably a low number.  Look at the list of people I provided in my post.  Add to them the 5%'er's that are leftists....that is the rich, mostly white, college indoctrinated liberals and maybe you get to 10% of the population.  All the rest, whether they vote Democrat like blacks do overwhelmingly, are held in contempt by these people.  They do not care about them except and only for their votes on election day.  The rest of the time they treat them like mindless children that need an overseer to make it through the day.  And the overseer rewards them with a little cash from the Treasury to make them dependant and subservient. 

I hold these 10% and the other 10% to 20% that are their fellow travelers in contempt because of what they do to the rest of the country.  Others that vote Democrat do so for many reasons that differ from the leftists and that's fine.  It's the 20% to 30% that never suffer the consequences of their disastrous ideology that I detest.
