Apparently the latest SCOTUS nominee cannot define what a woman is......and she'll be confirmed.  One would have thought Dementia Joe would have learned something from his affirmative action VPOTUS pick but apparently not.  As far as I can tell from her confirmation hearings she sure seems to get overturned a lot (even by left leaning appeals courts), loves to give pedophiles very light sentences, won't take a stand on court packing, believes in a living constitution where precedent is everything (except of course the "wrong" precedent) and is an uber activist judge that loves CRT. 

All reasons why no GOP Senator should vote yes but that won't happen.  She will be confirmed, probably with 60 plus votes and she will be a fine replacement for Breyer.  I predict that not one time in her entire time on SCOTUS will she stray from leftist, radical activist judge positions.  Unlike GOP picks, they can be counted on to be ideologically pure and thoroughly biased.

If she can't define what a woman is, then obviously she cannot know what is not a woman.  Since she is touted as the first black woman nominated for SCOTUS, does she consider herself a woman, and if so, why??

That's one of those times when you get a softball pitched at you and don't think of a great retort at the time.  He should have responded to her by saying, "Well according to President Biden he picked you because you were a woman of color.  Perhaps you can ask him and get back to us." 

That would have sent the leftist media complex into a frenzy of outrage despite being 100% factually accurate.

Realistically, how does any liberal really know what a woman is.  We've got those that were born female, we got trans, we've got those who can't decide what they are, those that don't want to be labelled anything.  I'm sure that there are some I am leaving out.  

I do think her answer was a bit ridiculous.  I thought Lindsay Graham got her pretty good about the computer monitoring vice puttng pedophiles in jail.  I really thought she would do a better job in answering the questions considering this is not her first time at the rodeo.  I think Lindsay got her first on why all these radical groups were supporting her being appointed to the court.  The truth is that liberals are still a minority on the court, so she won't have a big impact.

Thats where I am at.  It will be a radical liberal replacing a less radical liberal so no change in the court make up. Why waste the time and energy, not to mention politcal capital to do more than just drag her through some mud on her way to the bench. I do expect some entertaining "dissenting opinions" from her though.  But who knows, maybe Manchin and/or Senima (sp?) will spike her nomination for us.  So far this session they are my two favorite "Republicans"... lol.

Yes, they aren't saying much about his condition.  Hopefully he will recover.  

I did find it amusing that Cory Booker went off the emotional deepend about her yesterday.  For a guy that used to be a pretty good mayor for Camden NJ, he has turned into a raving lunatic.   

I know there must be some reasonable, rational black people out there, so why can't they get elected and be functioning members of the Congress?  Instead we end up with the crazies and the stupid.  I guess that is because so many that vote them in and keep them there are the crazies and the stupid.

About the same in my opinion as AOC, Omar, Pressley, Tlaib, Bush, Cheney, Romney - well for that matter probably at least 25% of congress and possibly as high as 90%.

To some extent, I would.  There are the emotionally unbalanced, the stupid, the true believers, the ones that don't have a clue.  When you watch various hearings, most of the time they don't care about the issue at hand, but feel like they need to put on a show for the sound bite.  

We've got too many that have made a career of politics and are in it for personal gain, and that includes both sides of the aisle.

The problem is many voters support candidates on the far Left or Right. A Republican who seeks compromise is a RINO and is ridiculed. Just read posts from Martini who would vote for a Zebra if it were a Republican....well, may be not a Zebra as it has Black stripes. 

An example of poiltics that worked for the country were the meetings between Tip O'Neill and President Reagan.

Mitch, when he was in control of the Senate, had one objective...to defeat Democatic proposals. He did not try to hide it. It is no different than this Forum which thrives on gotta ya posts. That is what they do in DC...gotcha poitics.
