It's not only a matter of afforability...you can't buy a Tesla in Alabama. The state does not allow direct sales of new cars.

In addition to the initial cost issue there is another issue any forward thinker will consider before buying the EV.....have seen estimates ranging from $25k to $28k as the cost of replacing the batteries when they first ones go blank.

Also, is it not true that the EV loses anywhere from 25% to 40% of its power in the cold winter time??

All that not withstanding......I continue to think all libs, dems and progs should go out and support the Chinese strategic materials industry and buy them as soon as they come off the assembly line.

Also in hot climates they must have A C units and you know how many amps they suck up.

I'm EV resistent.  I don't believe that forcing us into electric vehicles is going to save the climate.  Only an idiot would believe that.  Living here at the lake, I haven't seen one charging station being built, you have a find an electrician that has been trained in installing a charger if you want to put one in your home.

Just like they are forcing us into streaming services, they are going to force us into electric cars. Great if you live in the city, but for most people, it's going to be one expensive disaster.
