Is anyone here waiting a few more weeks before completely summerizing their boats, or is it safe now?? (outboards excluded...I got that one already going)...It sure doesn't look like it's going to freeze (or rain)

Saw last night on WSFA the latest freeze Montgomery has ever had was April 10th. Remember the old addage, don't plant before Easter.

Last Saturday was just such a perfect day for doing anything at the cabin I went ahead and buttoned my boats back up from their winter hibernation....changed lower unit fluids, etc. Hopefully it wasn't too early...and from the looks of the next week's forecast it wasn't. It feels good to know all of that is out of the way...

Even though another freeze "may" occur, it would have to really lower the temps for a while before any damage could occur. I'd say go for it. I did last Sunday. Only saw around 6-other boats moving around the lake, so, take advantage now.

I got the Moomba out of mothballs last Saturday and even did a little wakeboarding. Any freeze we get now should not be able to cause damage. The 10 day forcast looks good!

It should be safe now! We have summerized more than 125 boats for their owners just this week. Let the fun begin!
