Lost my father this week, we had a few weeks to know this was possible. Had plenty of time to share and be with him over this period. Talk, laugh, and love. We were lucky to have had this time with him. Go hug your loved ones today, tell them you love them no matter if it's not your norm, lifes so much shorter than we think.

I thank God for him, and for a special trip to goat island with him a while back.

Lost my father in 1976. Lots has happened since then, and I miss his advice on some of life's major decisions. Dad or mom never saw my grandboys. What I would give for that interaction today.

Sorry to hear of your loss, TIVO. I know this is a tough time, but God's timing is perfect - it's just hard to understand sometimes. Thanks for your advice.....I called my Dad this evening to let him know I love him.

Lost my dad many years ago, and the pain is still there. My sincere condolences. Remember all the good memories, and as you say, tell the ones you love that you love them today--now! May God give you comfort and peace.
