if you'd like your pontoon to sit on 4 tires...(my neighbor plans this) how do you get the tires there? do tires sink new from the store?

paddleboat man has his sit on railroad ties.....do they sink?

Do you cover your pontoon boat? How or what do you use to keep the upholstery frow weathering?

Also check eBay. You can generally pick-up an inexpensive cover that will last a couple of years for around $60 to $70 (can not trailer boat with).. Don't forget to spray the seats with bug spray when you uncover. If not red bugs/chggers will have a feast plus other creepy crawlers. Anyone have any experience with the seal or mold on "one time use" type covers (shrink wrap type deal). What is the degree of difficulty (can one do it themselves without special stuff) availability, cost and etc.?
