We have just started looking for a place on Lake Martin. We would like any input ya'll may have on how to start. Right now we know we mant to be on the lake, with a view, as close to Auburn as possible, deep water. We think that this will evenytually be our retirement home so we don't mind spending the money for a nice place in an upscale area. I am a commercial contractor in the Memphis area and could build our home but I would rather not........Been there and done that.

Blue creek area and Stillwaters are closest to Auburn. Lisa Hammond Reality seems to do as good a job as any on this side of the lake

Don Fuller at Fuller Realty is a good choice or you can buy my 4 bdr 31/2 bath with boat house and lift off hy 34 near the Auburn end of the lake. Sorry for the shamless pitch of my home. Its for sale now but the price is going up in the spring.

Think about Trillium. It's a bit pricy (500k and up), but you can't go wrong. It's arguably the best development on the lake. Drop me an e-mail if you want more info.....
