I hope they don't "catch" him when they find him..........

.....swift justice should (and most likely will) be served.

Agree, but the chilling thing is that some other law enforcement officer or officers are going to have to put their lives on the line before justice is served.

Makes me WANT to be in law enforcement. What man with half a gonad wouldn't want to capture this creature?

Any man with 1/2 a brain is not anxious to get into any gun battle or life threatening situation. Are you aware of a thing called fear? This low life has just killed several people and he is more than willing and able to kill more. Yes, I am sure that law enforcement wants to bring him down, and I know they will. These folks cherish their own lives and most have a spouse and children at home. Lets not show too much bravado when we are sitting back in our easy chair and there is actually someone out there having to get the job done. There might be more shaking and less bragging if you had to go after this monster.

I bet you have never been in such a situation or you would not make such a statement. If you have then come back and tell me - been there, done that. Then, I know I am communicating with another nut case. You like me might just might make more than a mudpuddle in our pants.

Actually, I am familiar and properly trained; I'll leave it at that. I can assure you there are many professionals that hope this perp leaves them no choice but to react with force. It may not be politically correct to admit this professionally, but they do believe it.

Everyone feels fear, some more than others. The fact remains that someone needs to be in harms way to end this and thank God we have those willing to do so.

Having the desire to track this guy, despite fear, does not make someone a nutcase.

Number 1 and the most important thing is that they caught the low life.

My post was not intended to be addressed to you jlazc. I was raising an issue with mudpuddle. I never intended to call anyone any names, and I do not think my post stated that. I certainly never inferred or said that this killer or any other violator of the law should not be pursued. I think you, jlazc, reinforced my point that someone could be classified a nut case if there were not some fear in pursuing a very dangerous and armed killer. Feeling fear is not being a coward or not meaning that you are not doing your job. I have total respect for members of law inforcement and if you are in that number or in the military - you certainly have my respect. I hope that I have clarified my post or at least what was intended without it being twisted or anything taking out of context. Please reread my post jlazc since you apparently misunderstood the post in your reindition of it. mudpuddle, I stand behind my point and there are no accusations directed or intended toward you personally in attempting to make that point.

No offense taken feb, I was addressing the issue in general. As you said, the most important thing is the low life being out of commission again. I guess he will have pleanty of time to think about his deeds as our court system slowly drags him to death row.

Thank you JIM. I will honor the individual's request as long as he or she does the same. Does not mean that I will not express an opinion or information in a thread. Big Lake and room enough for both.
