Website says starting April 29th, they will have live bands on Friday and Karaoke on Saturday. Is the live band thingy something new? If so, I am anticipating some extremely active, heated threads in the very near future.

This started last summer when SOME PEOPLE filed a lawsuit to stop the karaoke. This only made me want to sing even worse, if that is possible, when i do get the opportunity to sing.

Yeah, that's what i was saying. The live entertainment was started when the karaoke court order took affect last summer. June 1st, I think.

I think you're right but you never know what will happen. When driven by the $$$$$$$$ it's usually no holds barred. I sure do like my pie and $4 beer. And occassionaly someone gets up that can actually sing. Now when the 4 guys that catawaller get up on stage, I use that as a pit break.

I noticed a severe reduction in "talent" last year. Think it may of had something to do with the new DJ. Will see what happens this year but, we slacked off towards the end of last season because the participants were awful. I recognize it is all in good fun, but at least a little musical talent would be greatly appreciated.

Ole ArthurRitus already has my fingers formed correctly, now just need to swing my arms, turn my cap sideways, and walk like a chicken in a chicken yard. On a serious note Rodeos has some very good talent that performs on Friday nights.

I agree. I went there twice last year and both times the bands were good. Too bad it's not on the water!
Have ya'll seen the guy at Chuck's that sings all the Elvis tunes? His wife is good too. I think he does a good Roy Orbison too!

Yes he loves the attention. He sure could do to lose some weight. He does a real good fat Elvis. He also sings pretty good.

You must be talking about someone other than who I was thinking of. Joe does alot of Elvis songs and his wife sings as well. Joe has an average build for a 50 something man. If you have room to insult his figure then you are either very young or very anorexic lol.

LOL, the guy I'm talking about was recently featured in the Plain Talker, I think. He does a very good Elvis in song and looks but is slightly overweight. He didn't strike me as 50 but who knows. I'm 64 my self and grew up with the King from " Love Me Tender " on. My daughter cried when he died. Most of the Elvis impersonaters you see today are fatties. Long live the King.

Went there years ago. Does his wife or daughter still do Patsy Kleine(sp?)? You never leave there hungry. Good eats.

Haven't been there in a few years. Used to go there during the summer by boat for an awsome breakfast buffet . Elvis cooks up some mean biscuits. I think it is pretty much the same. I lost some interest when Elvis got a little too crude. Heard he cleaned up though. I guess you have to change something. Funniest story about him is he owns a garbage biz and picks up in the daytime. Industrious lot they are. Probably worth a fortune.....
