Has there been any this week? Anyone know of a web site where I can get rainfall data?

There was a pretty good downpour on Tuesday afternoon in Alex City.

There used to be a site that gave the recorded rainfall looking back. Can't find it anymore. You would think that the airport or the weather stations in the area would keep this.... and maybe they do - I just can't find it. Thanks!

I am surprised by the message that we don't need rain. The lake is down a foot and my lot is dry.

Go to www.noaa.gov . Work your way through the pages then request weather for Alexander City...or where ever. You can get radar, 48 hrs of rainfall (updated every 20 minutes), forecast, hurricane info, etc. ---all from good old uncle sugar--without ads or anything.

Ummmmm....the big picture is that I also reside in BC.....and we have had more than enough rain in June. If July is as dry as the last week or so...then I might complain. But, please, let's don't start our b@tching just yet. Our grass is green and mold and mildew isn't a problem. Personally, I think the weather has been absolutely perfect so far this summer. Water low? Big deal.....the Corps runs that show...not God.
