I lost my lab today in the Turner road , Lakewood drive area. 9 year old black lab, name is Maggie, no tag on her. I don't know if she swam across the slew and got lost or just wandered off into woods and died. If anyone finds her please post a message or call 256-825-8605...thanks

Wow. Sorry she's missing. Have trained them for years. My favorite lab of all chased a swimming deer across the slough and learned his lesson after an hour and came back. Was a beautiful sight to watch....but also frightful. Best of luck....labs aren't likely to be stolen...for long anyway. They are naturally loyal. Keep us informed.

HAPPY ENDING.

Maggie swam up to our dock that day. We live off Centerport Rd (Lakeshore Performance area)... she is a great dog and took to us right away. We did not notice which way she SWAM from! Since she had no tag, we let it ride figuring she would go home.

Here it is July 19th and UPSMAN told me of this thread... I missed it. I had seeen the choc lab and the yellow lab threads but not this one.

Owner and dog were reunited last night. Turns out we attend the same church in Tallassee.

Lakeshore.....thanks for watching over Maggie.......I know you took good care of her....She is a good dog and likes to be with us. when I went fishing she jumped in and tried to follow me since she likes to ride in the boat...I guess I did not watch for her and she could not keep up then got lost and probably tried to follow other boats...anyway we are so happy to have her back.....thanks again
