The lake appears to be 490+.......anyone have the word from APCO as to whether it is expected to go higher?.....I have to start disconnecting my floating pwc docks at 490.5.......

Perhaps I should have said that the lake appears to be approximately full.....don't want to cause unnecessary concern......

It sure looked like it. The 1-800-LAKES11 recording claimed 489.9 was reached but I think it was a couple of inches higher than that.

Yesterday evening the Alabama Power Company had nine of the twenty spillways open. This morning only three are operating. They will probably have to keep those gates open to handle the inflow that will still be making its way into the lake during the next few days. They also have to make room for the rain that Dennis may dump on us.

Pity the folks downstream.

at about 490.1 or so in the past. Not much more than this.
