Does anyone know someone that could build a custom built trailer for a Ski Nautique. I need one to put into a boat house. I have the normal trailer in the boathouse now but have to take it in and out to transfer the boat. Takes a couple of guys to lift it over the seawall to get it in the boathouse. Any suggestions around the dadeville area would be great. thanks

Jim I'm with you. I must have missed something because I don't understand it either. Sounds to me like the 5 guys changing a light bulb. One guy holds the bulb while the other four turn the ladder.

I think he just needs another trailer for his boat. He wants one trailer in his boathouse, and one not in the boathouse. I think he was trying to say that it's a lot of trouble to move his one trailer in and out of the boathouse.

In addition to what Camper said, I understand it to mean a custom built trailer could be better adapted to the specific needs of his boat house.

his main question is even simple enough for Jim.......he wants to find someone to build a custom trailer.

Sorry, couple of glasses of wine, seemed clear to me. Yes, bottom line is that I need someone to build a trailer or dolly for my boat house. Boat house is about 10 feet from the lake with a ramp going into the lake. Seawall is on both sides of the ramp. To get a trailer in the boathouse you lift it over the sides of the seawall into the ramp area. Guess I really didn't need to explain that in the original post.

Jim likes details.

Guess I need to leave this alone, but I can not understand why a seawall is built across a boat ramp that leads to a boat house. A Auburn graduate must have designed it for a UAB Graduate.

I think I got it effie. The worse thing about growing old is growing old.

The boat ramp runs from the boat house into the water.....seawall on both SIDES of the ramp.......exercise your brain cells and think; a grad from any institution could figure this out with a little effort.

Base on the visual I have, I think I would elimate the seawall going across the ramp.

Don't know anyone who does that. Might want to try getting another trailer like the one you're lifting over the seawall.

Just put the new trailer where it would work the best, then build another boat house over top of it.
