I know that the water level usually drops after Labor Day but the pace of the drop seems to be fairly aggressive. Based on the rule illustrated on the water calendar, the level is already one foot ahead of pace. Any reason? i thought the plan was to let the water level stay a little higher, a little longer. Must have been wishful thinking.

I am wondering about this too. I would like to hear if anyone knows the answer to this question.

The purpose of the Dam on the river is not for recreation, loud fast boats or neked parties or sissy ball ,where the girls take advantage of male testroiroids,or something like that, to whip there a`ss. As we all know it is for generating electric power and flood control. Something that New Orleans should have thought about. And BTY, I hope that some body has helped millertimejr find his a`ss,I do not have it.
