In today's Atlanta Journal Constitution, it reads on page E4, "For the first time, the 62 college football coaches who vote each week in the USA Today poll agreed to make their ballots public. A look at the final regular-season votes of four head coaches of area interest :" and it shows their pictures and who they voted....and Mark Richt voted this way:

1. Southern Cal
2. Texas
3. Penn State
4. Ohio State
5. Oregon
6. Auburn
7. Georgia

Listen Dawg fans, your own coach thinks Auburn is better than Georgia.

The other coaches that were listed were Phillip Fulmer (he put Auburn # 6 and Georgia #8), Steve Spurrier (he puts Georgia #4 and Auburn #6) and Bobby Bowden (he puts Auburn #9 and Georgia #12.)

Funny how Spurrier put UGA @ 4 and AU @ 6 when we stomped SC and UGA escaped with a 2 point win. Is Stevie kissing a little a$$ now trying to make up for all the years he punked Georgia?

I thought that odd, too. AND they didn't have Tommy Tuberville's votes in the paper and I would think that would be interesting to Georgia and Auburn fans in the state of Georgia.

You can see all of the ballots at the USA Today website; follow the link.

Tuberville had Auburn 4th and Georgia 7th.

Want to see how an idiot votes? Check out Frank Solich (former Nebraska coach, now at Ohio.) He has LSU #5, Alabama #10, Auburn #13, and Georgia #15. (Did he quit watching football about three weeks ago?)

As the great American and Best govenor that Ga. ever had, Lester Maddox called the AJC, a fish wrapper.

Here we go again.......I say high; the neighsayers say low.
I say black; neighsayers say white.
I QUOTE from the AJC about what the coaches did; neighsayers say the AJC can't be trusted...or USA Today, or any newspaper that can't
write what the neighsayers want to hear.

Such is life.

That's not it. You know if he did vote that way he will take some heat for that. I would be surprised. The Atlanta papers have been know to.. uh shall we say get things wrong at times. I looked at the USA chart and I would be interested to know if that's right. (not that there would be a mistake you know)

I think you read too much into some of the comments that are overcharged on this site... everybody needs to just relax a bit and re-djust their perspective a bit..

Roswell Ric - you live in Atlanta. You read the AJC and tell me how Coach Richt voted. The paper said it was "the first time....agreed to make their ballots public."

You know Coach Richt was just trying to make Auburn feel good 'cause they didn't get to go anywhere and play last Saturday night.

Why of course that was on his mind! NOT.

He probably cast his vote the same night he was arrested for DUI.

Nope, just knows the better team when he sees it.

I don't think he was trying to make Auburn feel better. I think he was relieved that Auburn didn't play last Saturday night. Why would he be relieved? Because Auburn beat Georgia 31-30 just a few weeks ago and Tubbs has a 5-2 record against the leg-humpers. Richt knows who is the better team.

You Georgia fans keep falling back on this "at least we went to the championship game" garbage. That's like a consolation prize for the best team in a division of pansies. Sure you won the East, sure you won the SEC championship, but you DID NOT BEAT AUBURN. And you have not beaten Auburn since 2003.

UGA has the title and the trophy. None but the bitter will remember all the rest of this stuff. Peace!

Hey Go Tigers! Hope they win 50-0! (besides my daughter & son-in-law went to AU) and I'm kinda getting to like blue.....I'll have to think about the orange though...

That's right. It's all friendly banter on this thread. Go SEC anytime, anyplace, anywhere.
