I hope not until they start and finish my sea wall!!!! We were supposed to be first on the list when the water started dropping,....they started on the other side of the lake. They SAY it shouldn't take them but 3 days to build, pour and finish it. Is this right or is someone just jerking on our trout line?

I think I remember reading here a while back, that this year they were going to plug the lake in Jan. and just let her fill up???? Is that right????

I asked the same question of Don last month and here is his answer:

"They are supposed to effectively 'put the plug in' and allow all rainfall to go toward filling the lake - after Jan 15th. How quickly it will fill then depends more on the amount of rainfall than anything else."

They have probably changed the policy but I remember back in the early 80's 1st of FEB it was close to full 490 and by spring break it dropped 3 feet.

I've seen APCO lower the lake several times when heavier than normal rains caused the lake to fill before they wanted it to.
