...... ever posting that first link to the Daily Home. I have been reading that rag since I learned to read, and for them to suddenly become the 'authority' on any subject is JOKE. Trust me, they are wrong more that they are right. Even I have been misquoted in that paper. Carol Pompass (Papass) is a man hating lesbian and the man she hates most of all is our president. She has never had one good thing to say about anything he has done. But the old 'war hero' sKerry could walk on water, or least that is what you would have thought had you read that rag during the election. I posted one link and now you guys are acting like they are the 'paper of record'. I guarantee, had a democrat put forth the initial bill, the Daily Home would be on the other side of the issue.
Since moving to the lake I dont subcribe but do check it daily for the obits. Never know when you might need to send sympathies to old friends, but this whole thing has me LMAO.
And BTW.... a VERY close relative of mine retired from there after spending many years in the newsroom, so I have a little insight as to how the editorial proccess works there.

Never claimed to know everything dude, but I only post FACTS on this forum and have been doing it for years. Long before you even knew it existed. You post a shameless, self gratifying post about what a wonderful guy you are by helping two folks that are probably in favor of the boat ban, then want to turn around and attack somebody else for a mere observation of truth and facts. I am sure you never even HEARD of the Daily Home till I posted the link last week. Like I stated, I have been reading it for 40 years. Just typical of the way all you guys opposing the ban react...... personal attacks, not facts.
You will have to be trolling for business else where soon, because your customers wont be coming here. Thank God for small favors.

about that first news article about the bill, but when the subsequent articles all carried the same tune without ANY objectivity, I knew either the author or the editor were on a mission.
Steve, we all understand your stake in this matter and your motivation to see the bill fail. If it passes, you'll adjust your business to make up for any small loss from fast boat owners. And you've still got Lay, Logan Martin, Ala, River, Eufaula, and the Gulf to terrorize.

Yeah it is a good thing that the people that are for the ban have not made any personal attacks, or stated anything but the facts. Or it could get really ugly on here.
