First of all, I have a great deal of respect for the post made my Osms and for the post made by Cat/Steve. I am really offended by some of the post that have been made almost to the point of slandering Mr. Osms by various twist of his handle. I think this man/lady is most intelligent and most American based upon their past post. I have lost a lot of respect to anyone that has used such stupid and arrogant attacks. I find it hard to believe that Osms has held their cool or demeaner during such slanderous personal attacks. All more my respect for that individual. Cat is another individual of great character who represents their side of the deabate with eloquence and understanding of others.

I have a great deal of difficulty wrestlng with this entire issue. I do not think I am alone. I am not a resident of the Great State of Alabama; therefore I have no Represenaive to voice my opinion. I have been a resident and entered military service fform the Great State Of Alabama. I own property and pay property tax in the State of Alabama.

Since I have served my duty for this Great Nation along with many others, I find it irresponsible for there not to be an opportunity for both sides to present their case in a civil manner.

I do believe there is very much the opportunity in this situation to arrive at a compromise that will not necessarily make both side happy. It should reach a compromise that will bring both sides together in a workable solution. The best solution is not always the right solution. the best solution is one that both sides work together for the betterment of all.

The above is personal opinion, and I will stand behind it.

Sorry for some typos and gramatical errors. The post was made in a moment of passion, and not necessarly a moment of complete eloquence or educated execution.

Many thanks for the kind words. The best way I know to keep my cool is to consider the source of the responder. Why fall in the sewer with'em?

Feb, on a lighter note, your post is the hallmark for responsible and thoughtful journalism. Those that attempt to reduce others with unfounded attack and vile assumption only succeed in reducing themselves. OSMS, sit back, smile and with quiet patience, let the unwashed run head long into a an ambush of their own design. I'd share a foxhole with ya!

LOL Flash. I think there is a different name for that experience, the Big "O". As long as you do not stay permanently blind.
