I'm slowly switching gears and getting into the baseball season. Bama had a big series with S.C. and won 2 of 3. They are playing pretty well as of late.
The Braves are starting slow...looks like it may be a up and down season. I've been a Braves fan since they moved to Atlanta...many last and 2nd to last seasons back then. But the sure had some big name players.

Hey BamaBob, I do not mean to offend by this question, but are you sure you are not the ghost of a prevous poster on this Forum? I say this in the form of humor. Last year there was an individual on the Forum who was a Bama Fan and seemed to really enjoy all the sports. He carried a fraternity handle on the Forum. Many others on the Forum may catch the similarity in the two of your types of post. The types of post do not carry a negative connotation by any means.

Bama Bob, I'm life-long fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Reds baseball this year is will challenge the Braves. I've made numerous posts about a trip I had to the lake in February and your post just gave me another.. A game in Atlanta to the see Reds when ever they play would be a good bet to get me back too the lake.. Come October I'd like to think that the Braves and Reds would be playing. There again another chance.

No, I'm new to posting on the forum, but I've been on the lake all my life. I do like sports and keep up with the Crimson Tide. Just trying to keep it lite on my posts.

They will miss him but their pitching will need to improve if they are going to advance this year. I don't think anyone needs to blame their pitching woes on him being gone.I wouldn't have given them much of a chance last year to make the playoffs, but I quit doubting them. On paper, this team should be middle of the pack I think, but they may surprise me again. What's the latest on Chipper?

Geno, How do the Red's look this year? I really used to like the Big Red Machine too. When I go to the Braves games I usually go from the lake and return to the lake. Makes for a enjoyable day if it's a day game.

Hey Folks, I abit slow but this thread goes back a few days and I wanna know when the Braves host the Reds.. BamaBob replied as I believe he mentioned that he sometimes takes off for Atlanta and returns the next day.. Either way, I'm figuring my summer returns and first jump into ML in quiet a while.. Anyone that follows the Braves let'me know. Geno I'll check out mlb.com and The Reds web site. Happy Easter all.
