Must be a lot of folks connected. Also, I sense a great deal of passion on this site. Some may be 100% opposite views....but let a political issue surface and look out. I also see just general chat and that's great too. I'm trying to encourage more people to participate. I bet the participation is a low percentage compared to the people that enjoy the lake.

I feel like the winner of American Idol. I have enjoyed my short time on this forum and feel I have made some new friends. When I speak to friends about Lake Martin (most have never heard of it) I get all excited. I think a lot of this comes from the folks I have met on this forum.

I just noticed on your list that Lake Smith (south of the LM came in 9th with 5 entries. All of those entries are from the Lake Martin folks when someone noticed it has a forum to.

Yea, you can see some of the same name on the Smith Lake site as well. I work with quite a few people who have places on Smith and Logan Martin and they were not aware of the Web site(s). They check out what's going on on there lakes more now.
