Well ....I did get up to the Camp Talasi Area and things have really changed over the years. Here is my report
1.) The cabin you described as described was not located probably changed.
2.) There were several for sale homes there,did not inquire, just saw the signs.
3.) One cabin was badly run down and neglected, no one there.
4.) Many new condo's (Pleasure Pointe) built now. \
I did bring my camera but sinceI did not find a close resemblance of the place you described, did not photography anything.

Thank you so much for trying..............from the google map, I feel that Pleasure Point is the land we had.................I kind of knew in my heart that the property was too desirable for there to be just a cabin left there.......Well, that makes me sad.......another bit of my childhood is left for my memories......but what will remain are wonderful ...as are the people I knew there and you must be one fine person to go out of your way to try and locate that for me..........I'm sorry that I won't be a Lake Martin Summer dweller, so I could meet you in person .......Thank you for the effort..............Land StClair

I know that the place you spent in your chilhood is a special place in your mind and heart. But an often quoted piece of advice is "never give up". there are hundreds of places available. Also it may sound corny but "if one door is closed, God will open another". The neglected cabin is charming and one that may can be aquired at a bargain price and probably only a few hundred feet from where you had fun. I know that I was interested in it myself but cannot make a move right now. Also thmany newer properties are being developed inmany places now. They are all pitcure book places. Youonly live once, go for the gusto.

Great Advice from LP. The good times are where you make them now and not where they were had in the past. You barely remember them not to mention the exact locality of your past vague memories.
Let your furture post dwell upon what you can do now and not upon what you can not even remember how to find. It is the same Nation, State and Lake. Good chance you can even find the same County. Think about it.
