It's actually pretty cool. Lots of artists, things to buy. Usually have a band, lots of people and GREAT PIZZA and drinks! Recommend going to ya!

I have a friend that shows her pottery during this event. I haven't been there, but she says its a great time and that we should come...too bad I'm going to be working all weekend.

Well, I guess it's not that bad; I've been on vacation and enjoying the lake for the last week.

They usually have a crowd all day.I think this year the piano man will be playing.The art is pretty good if that is your kind of thing.Some of the prices are high.They think alot more of it than I do.

Make sure you buy sometiming from my SIL or at least admire her work. She and probably others will consign to paint/draw a picture of your cabin if so desired. Nice to have a picture of your Lake Place iin in your main home or office if you are a part timer. Email me if you need more.

Hi Edge, Hope you folks have a great time. Wish I could be there. Bet there will be several artist at the Festival who do this type work. You and others are welcome to email me by clicking on the little "email icon" next to my handle feb, and I will provide you with my SIL's name. She painted a picture of my old cabin, and I was thrilled with it and have enjoyed it for years. Might be a great Father's Day idea for some.

While you and others are there look around since I do not want my post to be anything more than advertising the Festival. I am sure all the artist there will have samples of their work on hand for sale and as endorsements of their talent. I will say my Brother and SIL have had a place on the Lake for about 20 years I think.
