In about three weeks we will be heading to the mountains! We love visiting Gatlinburg and always have a great time with the entire family when we go. My parents used to take my sister and I to Gatlinburg when we were kids and I am carrying on the tradition by taking my kids there. The best time to go is mid-October when the foilage is absolutely beautiful!

Gatlinburg is a Lot of fun we usually go in October closer to November when it is getting pretty cold up there. We are heading to Grand Cayman Island later in the summer, last time I was there I was still in the stroller and trying to eat the sand. Hopefully I will have a better trip this time.

We're heading to St. Martin where the ladies can go topless and nobody gets their panties in a wad. If you've never been to St. Martin, you need to go. The island is half Dutch/ half French and is really laid back. We've never had a problem there and we ramble all over the island. There is one beach that is totally nude if you're into that life style. Not bad at all after about 5 minutes of shyness. Nobody cares what you look like and that's the great part. I hope everyone has a great summer where ever you go.

We went rafting/camping through Marble Canyon and the Grand Canyon (on the Colorado River) in June. The rest of the summer has been spent living the lake life.

Just returned from Charleston, SC. Great city! Spent a few days on the Isle of the Palms beach and played in the Atlantic. They have a great 4th fireworks show that starts on the aircraft carrier and, in sequence, moves around the bay to Sullivan Island and then to Isle of the Palms. Watched it from a chair on the beach with a cool one. Can't wait to jump in the lake though...Friday.

Family is what matters. Visiting a good friend in N.Kentucky nearby where I live. Then upon being welcomed into his home he decided to go too the gaming boats in Indiana.. I feel like jumping into the lake! So Lake Martin's on my mind..
