The following is a complete direct quote from an email response I received yesterday:
CONTENT:
"The following comment was sent srom the Lake Martin Forum regarding your message "I guess the boat dealer lawyer" from 10/1/2006 3:15:11 PM.
So, you are afraid to answer your email, and now you call me out in public. You are a coward, and a wimp. So be it. I say you are crap. You and your post. We are all emailing behind the scenes and laughing about you. Too bad you can't be a real BOY. You are a coward and we all talk about you. Yea, I said BOY. Punk Boy. Steve"
Ladies and Gentleman, I reserve comment on the above message, but I feel it is important for this forum to understand what goes on sometimes. Obviously, I have a very definite opinion on this unsolicited email, and I hope each of you will reflect on the true meaning of what Catboat tried to convey. You never know what people may try to do if they get access to your email address.
If anyone doubts the authenticity of this email I will be glad to mail a copy to you. Simply respond to this post with your address.

It appears that someone has manipulated the system. Someone has obviously sent this e-mail and replies as CatBoat because this is not of his character.

Ok gentlemen enough is enough, do we need to get the FORUM MANAGER to intervene here, LOL.
But come on Steve “Punk Boy” couldn’t you think of something a little more original than this. I am still laughing, that was pretty bad.
And OSMS quit getting Steve’s blood pressure up as we do not know if his new heart bypass can handle of this excitement yet.
We all know where OSMS stands on this matter and we all know where Cat stands on this matter, that is the American way -- Everyone has a right to an opinion.
So if you guys will let me intervene here I will buy the beer, cook the steaks, etc. and we can all shake hands and drink a cold one.
OSMS, I have actually met both Steve and his wife and they are very nice people and I do not think anyone wants a safer Lake Martin than Steve and his family. As I have stated before they have unfortunately been stereotyped in that they drive a large fast boat, but I know their hearts are in the right place (they just love boats and boating) and Steve would be the first to run down an unsafe fast boat and give him/her a royal a$$ chewing.
OSMS and Cat - I am not taking sides here, just looking to reconcile what appears to have gotten out of hand for whatever reason.
So lets shake hands and drink a cold one.

is the most telling. You blindly attempted to defend your friend, because you didn't think he was capable of such. I was shocked when I received the email, and decided to put it on the forum only after thinking about it for overnight, because I didn't want to make an irrational decision. If you don't like what I say on this forum, tell me on the forum; I have nothing to hide and no secret agenda. We're all supposed to be adults here--let's act like adults.

Let me see if I got this right......OSMS & CAT are in a spat which has JAW and JIM pillow talking about SHOEFLY who suspects someone is swapping identities with OSMS & CAT to manipulate this forum but it can't be MAVERICK cause all he wants to do is shake hands and drink beer. In the meantime JAW is giggling about honor, JIM had to pay animal control to get CAT out of the trees and PIER PRESSURE leaps in with his 2 cents. CAT is quoting lewis grizzard, PIER PRESSURE is quoting CAT and someone is delivering groceries to JAW. JNR3 doesn't give a darn and ROSWELLRIC is as confused as me.
