wonderful weekend. Fall colors are just past prime, the temp is close to 80 already--and not a boat in sight. Took some fall pictures this AM from the boat--it sure has been a pretty fall.

BTW, gas prices are going up--can't imagine why! Guess the oil companies are anticipating the Democrat tax increase and are already collecting it.

We on the Forum had a question along with opposing positions about gas prices. There was the discussion of gas prices dropping as maybe a political ploy prior to the elections by the President, and if prices would rise again after the election. I would think there would have to be a substantial increase to validate it as a ploy.

Prices are up about ten cents in Northern Virginia from a few days ago but down about ninety cents from a couple of months ago.

Come on guys, get your head out!! I never said it was Bush lowering the prices--it was the oil companies. Oil prices are not up, but gas prices are up. Surely you're not naive enough to think we live in a free market environment in the oil industry.

Is around $61 dollars I think. There were some stations in Birmingham @ $1.96 per gallon but seems to be arounf $2.09 today.

Lets grow some corn!!!
