Sorry wrong button... but why is it that not ONE of the regulars blasted CAT BOAT for his blatant advertising just below here. FEB is ALWAYS the first to blast anybody who dares to mention there own business on the forum.
RULES ARE RULES!!!!!!! Just because some of you know CAT and he is a regular poster it makes it OK? HYPOCRITES!!!!!!
I will seek to have the offending post removed!!!!!! After all, in todays PC world I have a RIGHT not to EVER be offended by anything.

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on him and all the others that flamed Lawn Expert. And I think we all remember who is ALWAYS the first and loudest when someone else does the same thing. Seems to me that a lot of credibillity has been lost today.

I am guessing you started this thread because I put my web address at the end of my post. I often sign emails with my web address, and it becomes a habit. However, I really don't see it was any big deal. Normally, I would have ended my post with my name. And, not that it matters, but I am a paid sponsor and advertiser of this website! I find it hard to believe that it was offensive to you, but i send appologies to you anyway.

I was not offended, the post was mostly tounge in cheek. The reason for it was because so many others have been flamed and even threatened with 'negative publicity' for doing the same. Lawn Expert was a 'paid advertiser' also, but that didn't cut any slack for him, and he was a 'newbie' who didn't know any better. That poor guy was raked over the coals for days.
Apology accepted!! I just used your post to point out the obvius hipocracy of some of the members. IMHO, hipocarcy of the masses is one the biggest problems with this nation today.
Merry Christmas to you and yours also, and I truly hope the old ticker keeps on ticking without major defects for many years to come.

I meant "ole" not old.
I dont have a problem with web addresses either, as long as the RULES are applied to all equally. Your web address is advertising, and as long as others are flamed for doing the same, I will complain. Maybe you should talk to some of your 'buddies' about easing up on others that do the same.

You are correct LTL. I am not offended, but I also do not believe the open Forum is the place for anyone to advertise even if they are a sponsor of this site. The only thing that urks me more is the blatant trashing and advertising on the public right of ways.
The big thing that got me at the time with Lawn Expert was he used derogatory language toward me personally in his response. I called his hand at advertising but never attacked him personally. He later appologized, and as far as I am concerned is more than welcome on the Forum to help make it a good place.
