My friends and I are planning a spring trip in April 07. We have been looking at Lake Martin online for some time. I was wondering if there is any certain part of the lake that has the best water for wakeboarding. If anyone has any info, or the name of a pro shop on the lake I would greatly appreciate the info. thanks

Blue Creek loves wakeboarders.

I have a good friend on Manoy Creek, and he and his wife LOVE sitting outside watching wakeboarders go back and forth. He says its really deep water with no obstructions and is smooooooth. Have a super vacation!

Blue creek is old hat now for wakeboarders....too many pontoons about, the new place to go that is hot is in the Sandy creek area..... not many old f*rts to get in your way.

There are a few of the "old F**ts" in the Sandy Creek area too! Please don't send the wakeboarders this way! We have enough with the personal water rockets already!

Too many snakes swimming around in Sandy Creek, they seem to like all those stumps that are just under the water's surface.

That's right! Lots of snakes! Big ones too! They are called "old F***s"!

As an addition, I was rather upset by the term "old F***ts". Some of us have earned all that we have and not "spending Daddy's money". I detest being referred to as being of the older croud. I, personnely, and I am sure OSMS will agree, that was a cutting remark. I would like an appology from this person, whoever you are. It seems to me that you were not taken to the woodshed and introduced to a razor strap as often as you should, especially to show respect. At any rate, God bless, and I think you need it.

If you would like to discuss it personally, post your phone. I'll be glad to talk with you, any time, any where. And under any circumstances.

LMAO....Lighten up Francis; what I said is true, but I didn't say I disagree with you (at least in some aspects). You are as young as you feel and don't let anyone dictate your feelings. Have a great lake day.

I am a long way from "Francis". You have a great day and God bless.

I'm sure you are, but you seemed a bit irritable this morning. Keep smiling...... and if you're on the west end, stop by and have a beer with a Regan era vet.

Don't let posters fool you. Blue Creek is slap full of stumps, some less than 2 inches below the water. The stumps are sitting on large, large rocks. Repair shop at bridge says they get hundreds of broken wakeboards to repair every summer. Many wash up on their ramp.

I would advise trying this at Willow Point. You can wake and dodge golf balls at the same time.

Well, now that we have trashed everyone's back yard... the fact is the absolute best location to wakeboard (tongue-in-cheek aside) is the area east of highway 49, because it is virtually free of snakes, rocks, stumps sexy old men and old f*rts.

Wonderful spot and you don't have to worry about your tower -- it'll fit perfectly under the 49 bridge. LOL
