I am a newbee to the forum and live on the lake full time, my wife and I love every minute of it!

We would like to build a 2 slip, covered dock with 1 lift and an uncovered portion for entertaiming.

Does anyone know where we can get some plans? We are going to do most of the work ourselves.

We also could use a recomendation for someone to drill the holes and set the 6X6 posts.

Donald at Deep Water Docks is great. He's at 256-825-6077. He did an addition for me which added a slip, entertaining area and floating section, plus he expanded the roof to cover both slips. Did just what he said he would he do and the work is quality work. His web address is deepwaterdockco.com

We are in eastern Little Kowiliga Creek area. My neighbor has just started building her boat dock and it is very similar to the one I would like to build.The guys installed the posts and banded the thing in a total of 1.5 days!
