Our black lab, Dixie, went off for a walk and is still walking!

Her collar was torn and I had gone into Auburn to get her a new one today & when I got back she was gone. Hopefully she is just checking out the neighborhood.

Distinguishing features....had puppies 8 weeks ago & she is not back to her pre pregnancy shape if you get my drift. If any of you see her please let me know. We live at 337 Blue Jay. She is a little angel and we love her.

Does that mean no collar? No tag? If so good luck.

Not sure when Dixie went walking or what part of the lake you live on but while driving down HWY 72 close to HWY 50 on Friday I saw a black lab with a little weight on it on the side of the road along with a yellow lab. Stopped and neither had collars on, seemed to be playing with some kind of road kill. I got them away from the road but couldn't tell you where they were today. Hope you find your pup.

No tag, no collar.

We just moved here full time and my sister was keeping Dixie until last night and when she brought her over I saw that her collar was missing.

We live down 34 close to Pleasure Point.

We lost one of dogs last year. We called every vet in the area and put up signs in every store, gas station, etc...that would let us. We found her a week later. Also, go to the local humane shelter. Someone may have picked her up and taken her to the shelter. Good luck.

No, I haven't found her. Thanks for asking. I have been riding all around calling her name. She is such a sweet dog.

I lost my dog several years ago. Checked the pound, and he was not there. I was of the mindset they would contact me if he showed. Three weeks later, I checked the pound and there was his flea eaten butt. Someone had found him and held him hoping to find the owner. They finally turned him in. I am so glad I checked the pound again.

If after a while you have not found your dog, I have a customer/ friend in Pensacola that has a female black lab about a year and a half old and she's willing to give up the dog to a good home. The owner has health problems and can not give the dog the time it needs. If you're interested, please let me know and I will contact my customer.
