While I was drafting my retort to the stuck-up Miss Ilovelakemartin (ILLM) I was interrupted by a meeting and lunch and my lovely assistant, Skippy, as in assistant not secretary Skippy, completed my blog without my permission, and told some fibs. To set the record straight, I do not currently have condos in Bar Harbor, Key West, or Aspen.

Skippy, BTW, got her nickname because when she worked at the hospital and walked by men undergoing EKGs their T-Waves would go, "skip, skip, skip," and the doctor would call for the nitro, just in case. She's real cute, if mischievious, and Ms. Tallyman doesn't worry about Skippy and me because, as Ms. Tallyman puts it, "You ain't all that cool."

Anyway, the playful Skippy has put a want ad in the Riyadh Times, in Riyadh, Miss ILLM, which you might know, is in Saudi Arabia.

She's advertising my condo in the local paper and hopes a sheik with three burqued wives and ten teen-age boys, will buy it. She hopes all of the skeiklets own pontoon boats and will utilyze public launching areas along with the rest of the condo-owning trash. However, she assures me that the sheiklets aren't paying anyone 10 USD or, 37.45 riyals, to dump their boats in the lake.

With regard to the foregoing, I'm not sure whether Skippy is kidding or whether she has already done this. I'll let you know later.

Thanks!!! You just made my day. I'm still laughing.
Good luck selling your condo. If it sells and you need a place to stay, I have a blue week time share on a cute little single wide in Dadeville. Just let me know.

Seems to me Skippy might be a good entry for the Girls Gone Wild at Chimney Rock!

How did Skippy know so much about bumpers and Gunwales (Gunnels)? Does she know what to do with hers?

Tallyman is not supposed to be privy to such information. Remember he, like you and I, has a spouse.

You are in for a long drop and a hard landing. Take a look at the picture on Cat's site for a picture Computer Guy took of my Big Dig and referenced pier.

By the time the water warms up enough for me to dive, you will have big water... BTW, I have an underwater metal detector, so if you drop something precious off the end of your deck, I can help you search for it... As long as there may be cold beverage awaiting...

I will remember your underwater tool. Have you ever found anything good with it? Do you use it above water or underwater?

I have heard of folks using their cell phone to shock fish.

All you will find at the bottom of feb's pier is all the beer cans BoatsRFun and Conputerguy left there last fall.

From what I was told they were up there every weekend drinking beer off feb's pier.

It is hand held, and can be used above, or below. It is water-proof to 130 feet...

LOL, Mav I would never throw any trash in our beautiful lake, that being said, we threw them up in Febs yard hoping one might hit one of the many Land Mines Feb has hidden throughout his yard....

You would need a full beer can to trigger anything. I figure you would sacrifice Computer Guy before you would a beer.

Also, watch out for the bouncing betty mines. They fly up and in any direction for about 30 feet. How far can you throw and empty aluminum beer can?
