went out on the boat this weekend. and found a place called "Frankies on the water". didnt look like it was open.has anyone tried this place ?

does it have good food and such?

Been there one time. Food was good but not great. We sat inside (because of the weather) and they had the music so loud we could'nt carry on a conversation. I even ask one time if they would turn it down some and the ladies said she and the others in there liked it that way. I hope she took the nickle tip I left her and bought something nice.

Located on the water at River North Condo by the Highway 280 Bridge.

I really do not think this place will make it. First it is pretty small. Second the food was just not that good and somewhat overpriced for what your choices were. Seating was poor as well. The location would have been OK for boat and car travel but once you get there the food and service was average.

If you were to put Oskars food and service at that location you would have a hit however because it was fairly easy to get there by boat.

No - on other side of bridge from Lake Hill Restaurant, right in front of the River North Condo Pool area.

Cannot miss it when you go over the 280 Bridge.
