The Va Tech stuff is starting to come out.

I read in the Washington Post news this morning that several teachers and administrators were alerted to the problem with this kid. On TV they reported that at least one went to the head of campus police with the problem.

The response was we agree this looks weird, maybe dangerous but we can't do anything about it. What do you mean? You can't eject a student whose behavior is aberrant and appears that he is crazy and dangerous? What the he** is up with that?

If you knowingly let a violent felon in an apartment and harm is done to another resident you be you would be liable. Happens every day.

Sounds like political correctness to me. I'll bet there will be some mega lawsuits against the university no matter how many pep rallies are held by the administration.

educational administration cannot do anything about this but let a child with a headache pull out an aspirin and suspension is immediate.

There are so many upsetting things about this tragedy; it is actually hard to fathom it all. How can a non-citizen purchase legally a gun in the USA? The gun dealer stated the sell went through the required approval process in a matter of minutes. The shooter did not even have finger prints to id himself.

This is a minor point since guns as easily purchased just as illegal drugs if you have the money.

I do not have an answer.

if this guy had been black or white he would have been kicked out of school. 5 teachers complained, students complained, he stalked women, he had a mental health problem.....bottom line...VT 's hands were tied because he was Asian!!!!
