Lake level has been basically flat over the past 5 days. I hope we get a lot more rain today.

Unfortunately, there appears to be a big gap in the squall line from the lake to just north of I-20 west of Atlanta-which happens to be the Tallapoosa River basin.. Something like this has happened several times this spring. The heaviest rain will move through south Alabama, but stop somewhere just south of where it will put water in the lake. I live north of Wetumpka on highway 9(about 20 minutes from the lake), and I have seen several storms that sweep through dumping heavy rain, but weather radar shows the storm track missing the lake. AAAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!!

The forcast for the Rome Ga area shows the rains will hit there about 4 pm and last for almost 12 hours.
