we stopped at the new market on 229 at Kudzu Corner and WOW! Hard to believe we were in Red Hill. They have a great lunch menu and steaks were unbelievable. The owner graduated from AU, studied at the Meat Lab there and she had one of the best looking displays of meat I've seen in a long time. The sandwiches were huge and delicious, a real mufulatta from New orleans and the chicken salad was the best. Glad to have a new place to shop. Oh yeah, the name of it is Green Valley Market and Cafe

They need motivation for the late night part, as they close at 7pm...

Red Hill is the corner of hwy 50 and 229 near the "Eagle" gas station. The place mentioned above is about one half mile west of the Eagle gas station.

A deli style place that is pretty good ...needs a little improvement or training as to what a real deli is but it's a great start.

I doubt you could get a Braunsweiger and purple onion on pumpernickel with a little german potato salad on the side though.

Meat looked real good plus takeout frozen dishes.

Big plus for the area.
