I don't know about a poker run, but this Saturday (9th), Chuck's Marina will be hosting the 5th Annual Lil' Calypso Art Festival from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Admission to the Lil' Calypso Art Festival is a donation to the Friends of the Dadeville Public Library, so it's for a good cause. There will be live music from 1:00 - 4:00. The original art includes Pottery, Jewelry, Folk Art, Furniture, Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Glass and Metal Art. It's all original art and there are at least 30 artists that will be there. And if you're hungry, Chuckwalla's on-site Pizzeria will be serving pizza, salads and subs.

We have gone to this for the last two or three years. It is a lot of fun.
We had been looking forward to going again this year but I have a conflict and will not be able to make it.

I don't remember noticing anything specially setup to entertain the kids, but I do remember noticing lots of parents and kids there together eating and just hanging out.
