Since the water is too hot to swim in we might as well eat. Anyone know the nicer places in Auburn?

it is near the hilton but indian pines is a stretch. it is at exit 57 (off i-85). the best italian in auburn by far. but if you want soul food go to pannie george's right off i-85 at exit 51 on the left across from the ford dealership. more casual but its my favorite.

I know you specifically said Auburn but don't discount Jimmy's in Opelika, which has excellent food!

or Amsterdam Cafe at 410 S Gay Street in Auburn or, if you like Thai food, the Mandarin House at 3800 Pepperell is great (plus they have a Chinese buffet which is pretty good if you like buffets).

Ah the home of the great Tom Murphy! Is the T&E outlet still there?
