I was told today that the lake is going down 3 more feet after Labor Day.

Probably just a rumor.

According to APCO'S website, that is true. Effective—2007-08-21 09:32

Yep, at that level I'm wondering how many of the launch ramps will even be usable. I felt like I was pulling a boat straight up hill out of Poor House 2 weekends ago when I had to pull my pontoon out.

APCO ACTUALLY GAVE US ON LAY .2 FEET TODAY...SUPPOSED TO THUNDERSTORM EVERY AFTERNOON FOR A WHILE BUT I GUESS ANY RAIN IS GOOD RAIN...AS FOR LABOR DAY, I'LL BE TAKING A 4 DAY WEEKEND....HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL FRI. NIGHT, TUSC. FOR THE GAME SAT., THEN ON THE WATER SUN. AND MON.....

I'll be there Friday night through Monday afternoon. I'm going to find somewhere up there to watch the game Saturday. I probably won't get out the Glastron, but I'll put my 14' bass boat in to play around in. Maybe I can make it to Pier 59. It still beats a good day at work!
