I know you cringe when you see that I am posting, if I am not wanted let me know and I will truly leave.

I would like to sincerely apologize to the forum, Maverick, Mythbuster, LTL, and anyone else that I have offended--- I know, I've said it before, but I feel that it obviously got out of control.

I am really not a crazed fool, just a rabble rouzer times.

Was wondering, for those of you that are there, how much traffic is at the lake this weekend?

Once again, if my damage can not be excused, I will leave and ,I understand. If not I would like to stay a part of this forum in a proper manner.

Regards, Rob ,aka........flathead........ROLL TIDE.. Heck I'll even say War Eagle (THAT HURTS)

good question, would have never figured that one, Lou Holtz just called it "the biggest upset in college football history"" I might have to agree

Good thing too, because I am an OU fan and everyone last year was calling Boise State's win one of the biggest... They seem to be holding up to their win quite well. It is too sad that a Division 1A school doesn't get a crack at the title game when they are undefeated! (even Auburn when OU ousted them with one loss).

PLAY-OFFS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually intend to live by your apology, I'm sure you will be forgiven. Like you said, you have apologised before without much action. Respect must be earned; with time, the forum may come to respect you.....but it will not come quickly given the circumstances.

It's too bad we needed to expose your identity in order to get you headed (I think) on the right track. Anonymity can sometimes cause people to be bold and foolish. Peace. - John, AKA jlazc.......War Eagle!!

I agree. I think playoffs will be coming soon, just hope Bama does not have the second biggest defeat in college football history!!!! Looks like Notre Dame is missing Brady Quinn! Roll Tide, I can't say War Eagle again

are absolutely needed......but money talks in college football, and there are a lot of BIG bucks pushing against a truly fair playoff system. Lets hope public sentiment prevails.

I appreciate that. You are correct, flathead was trying to "stir the puddin" as LTL calls it. I have no idea who any of you are, and I found it to be humorous that I could upset so many with such banter, as you said when it becomes personal things change.

I hope all can realize that. I am just a normal guy that loves Lake Martin. We have had a weekend home there for six years now. Generally we are down every weekend, just not this one.

The flathead is truly a lover and not a hater

Auburn scares me to death in every game I watch. Somehow they pulled it out last night. I don't know if KS is really that good or we need a lot of work.

Its good to play a team like that in the begining of the season so you can fix what is broke. I'm sure Tommy Teletubby is not going to stand for that. He should have it fixed for the next game.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

some semblance of a running offense and an offesive line to support such and protect the QB. I hope they have it and can display it in the future games.

I am not a football expert, but this was rather obvious in my personal opinion.

They didn't have it and if they don't find it we are in for a long year.....although I still may be willing to give Flathead my KS odds on the Ironbowl (Don't get too excited Rob, I said maybe).

Watching Auburn was almost like watching a re-run of the Hokies earlier Saturday. Just enough to win, no running game and giving up a bunch of sacks. They say the largest improvement comes between weeks one and two. That needs to happen when VT goes to Baton Rude this Saturday.

....you are so right in your analysis...I watched both games and VT seemed dead in the water most of the game just as AU did....sure hope AU lights a fire under the O Line and gets a little more creative with the play calling before Saturday.........
