ST LOUIS, MO - (Begin Bud Light theme music)Announcer: Bud Light Presents, "Real Men of Genius"
Backup singer: Reaaaaal Men Of Genius

Announcer: Today we salute you, Mr. Irrational, Inferior Auburn Fan.

Backup singer: Mr. Irrational, Inferior Auburn Faaaaaan!

Announcer: Season after season, year after year, you try to justify your absurdly high preseason ranking.

Backup singer: Why aren't we number one?

Announcer: You scramble to make futile attempts at damage control when your team finds a way to blow another dream season.

Backup singer: Kenny Irons had turf toe!

Announcer: Inevitably, you'll bring up the 2004 undefeated season.

Backup singer: Still couldn't win a national championship!

Announcer: You will point out that you have won five in a row and call it the thumb so that your graduates can put that number in proper perspective.

Backup singer: Thank God for the sociology department!

Announcer: Go on, ignore that you have only won half of a national championship in your school's long history, and continue to believe that you'll get a piece of that pie next year.

Backup singer: Tuberville declared us People's Champs in 2004!

Announcer: So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Emperor of Excuses, and take comfort knowing that when you don't win a national championship next year, you will still have one hell of a swim team.

Backup singer: Mr. Irrational, Inferior Auburn Fan.

Most people here know me either in person or from the forum. My name is John and I have been using my current alias for over 3 years (I had a different one before users needed to register and didn't post much back then). If you are truly a new guy, welcome.....but you came across as someone who is trying to stir the puddin' with a alias to an alias.

few don't have the guts to show who they are because they like to act like children....Most of us have nothing to hide.

No real importance to a first name, but you asked me to introduce myself (after I asked the same of you) so I did. I am also a vet as are many others on this forum. Again, welcome; I honestly didn't mean anything else, but there are some that post here for little else than to cause problems and they are afraid to admit who they are. If you are going to be in the Little Kowaliga area, drop me an email......the beer is on me.

You are not required to share anything you are uncomfortable which certainly includes personal info. I think what John (jlazc) was intending to infer is we welcome you to the Forum and it often helps to know just a tad about fellow posters if they are OK with it. John is an upright guy, and I was glad to see you accept his appology. Like many of us he has served our Country in and out of uniform. He is also a property owner on Lake Martin which does not make him a better person but only a person of concearned interest for the Lake with some shared credibility on the Fourm. Many boaters who are not property owners are wonderful members on the Forum with like credibility.

It is nice to know a little intro info about a new poster since we tend to enjoy gathering data from experienced and knowlegable folks. We also tend to develop friendships based upon background like vocations and alma maters. If you are a Lake property owner, people even like to try to identify neigbors by finding out where others are on the Lake or possibly where they commute to the Lake from.

I to welcome new poster's to the Fourm. Also, please take a look at the Lake Martin Home and Boat Owner's Association. You may choose to join if you have a shared interest. It is also a great opportunity to meet others with your interest.
