According to what I heard on the weather channell the Lake is a liabillity NOW. We are loosing more water to evaporation than is flowing in. I say drain it. That will reduce evaporation by well over 90%. When/IF the drought ends we can fill it back up.
And Russell can sell "possibly in the future water front lots," and "used to be waterfront resort homes." There are economic side effects associated with the illusion of a lake. Depending on how long this drought goes on, we will have to weigh economic problems against survival issues and hopefully find the balance.
