The comments period to FERC ends on 11/14/07. Sure hope all those who want winter levels higher will write FERC now. We've begged for the higher winter levels for years and years; we now have our chance. Hopefully, everyone understands the importance of the letter to FERC
Whether we get to 483' or not, getting the approval to do so is critical. We don't want FERC to get in the habit of saying no. We have a bad feeling about what the Corps of Engineers may recommend. WRITE.

IF they approve the 483 it is only a one year variance. It has no effect on next years winter pool. A full time winter pool change will only happen in 2013.

That sentence reads as if you think it to be permenant. Maybe you don't, but the sentence structure does, because you haven't been begging for years and years for a temporary variance, you have been begging for a PERMANENT variance. I was horrible in English classes, but I understand it very well.
And why would you be asking for MORE features to the iggy button, when you don't use the ones that Bruce has already provided?

If you had me on iggy like you should, after badgering Bruce for it, you would not even know I posted. So use the iggy button he has already given you, and quit asking for features, that you won't use, to be added. Actually, I guess you would use a reverse iggy. That would suit you just fine, being able to control others, while not taking responsibility for your own actions.. But you see adults realize that they can only control themselves, not others. Your membership entitles you to post, not stop others from posting. Now act like an adult, for a change, and take your criticisms like a man and stop WHINING.

Does anyone know if our governmental officials have filed comments with the FERC? If not, perhaps HOBO could contact them, and ask for their help.
