I saw and heard two Loons this weekend. Also, when I was walking the dog an eagle flew over. You have to watch small pets when the eagles are in the area.

Good post, Lakeman! There are a couple of red-tailed hawks around here...also a threat to scoop up a small pet for a meal. One of those dive-bombed me while I was on the pier...had to duck he was so close to my head.

About a month and a half ago, my wife and I were taking the toon for a ride. Saw an eagle pluck a fish out of the lake close to the railroad bridge near 280. Awsome sight.

We have seen several pairs of eagles on the North side of the lake.

There was a beautiful Bald Eagle flying over the Oakachoy area around 10:30 this morning. I got a couple of picutures, but he was way up there.
