How are the roads around the lake? Hubby and I will load up the Dirt mobile with some snow and haul it over.
Seriously, we would rather be there than here and if it is feasible, we are brave enough to try it. Coming from South Atlanta to Stillwaters area. Thanks for the feedback!

hey, the roads are fine right now, Sat afternoon just after snow has passed....but don't delay. Temps are going to be dropping later this evening into low 20s or lower and there is a lot of moisture to freeze up. At that point, the roads may be a slip-n-slide.

Dirt Diva, where in South Atlanta? We are in Fayetteville and were wondering the same about the roads. We have 3 little ones and considered going to the lake later today, but too late now! Good luck!

Any time there is an accumulation of snow or ice on the dirt roads, they get really soft; those who have experienced it know exactly what I mean, and everyone else has to see it before they believe it. So if your dirt road had some accumulation, and you drive on it, be prepared for a very muddy ride, and expect to create some ruts that you'll be enjoying for months to come.

Waterbaby, we are in Fayetteville, also. We decided to hang around here this weekend! Probably gonna go to The Lake next weekend. It's going to be a hard week as I will be going through (lake) withdrawals.

Dirtdiva and Waterbaby, From your neck of the woods too! Stayed home thiis weekend, but family members went to the lake. COLD but always nice to get away.
