I posted a while back about how my boat had been hit by a car. After taking care of everything with the insurance company "Allstate" with whom I was very impressed it was totaled and I get to retain the boat. Well I am going to keep the money, part out my boat, and find another boat but I don't want to keep the hull after I have parted out the engine and sold the transmission and prop and such. Anyways does anyone know anywhere that I can take the hull to dump it or any place of this kind or do I have to take a sawzall to it and haul it to the dump in small pieces?? Thanks

You could try Dunn's on hwy 34, if you can catch them there.

Think we need a little zoning in the county?

How about the "Hwy 34 Junk Yard", (as I call it) you know the place right across from Camp Alamisco road. One more Junker there would not matter too much, would it?

I carried two loads to the Sunflower dump and it was $20 per load. They don't pick up anything unless it is in the can.

Thats not bad if you have nowhere else to go. $20 a load plus fuel and your time . Depends on what works . Thanks for the info.

Alex City also has a city dump--'bout $9.00 a pick up load I believe. Pay for the dump at City Hall. Dump is close to town.

Some places that are seeking 'fill dirt' will accept boat hulls for burial. I know one place in Dadeville that has many burried, but unfortunately, they have completed thier fill already.
