Anybody have any info on the fire that occurred a few weeks ago and caused very heavy damage to the Chevron station in Dadeville.

How did it happen? Are they going to re-build?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

They think a battery backup for cash register shorted out and caused the fire.I talked to Mrs. Price a few days ago and she said they did not know if they would rebuild there or somewhere else.

Is this J's Junction or another Chevron?

Thanks for the info.

I was real sad to see their loss. They have always been so nice and pleasant to do business with. We wish them better times ahead.

What can you tell us about J's Junction -- did they sell it back or was Seeger leasing them the property and had to take it back over. I got the impression last time I was there that they were having a hard time because of the drought -- like many businesses.

Shows how long its been since I've been to the lake. I am sorry to hear that as it seems to just be a case of unlucky timing. Very nice young couple that I am sure will land on their feet. Must have been owner financed if they got it back.

Sad situation. I'm hearing the drought did them in. I hope they land on their feet quickly. Agree...must have been financed by last owner --Seegers.
